This day serves as a reminder to take the time to deepen our understanding of the residential school system and the lasting impact that it has had on the lives of Survivors, families, communities, and Nations.

Remember Me - An Annual Day of Remembrance
This national gathering to remember Indigenous children and families affected by the Indian residential schools and all Indigenous child apprehension programs will take place in Ottawa at Parliament Hill. The event will also be livestreamed.

Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc is calling on people around the world to drum together and sing for the missing children of the residential school. Join them virtually on September 30 at 2:15 p.m. PST.
UBC Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) – Reconciliation Through Indigenous Education
This 6-week online course starts September 30 and runs until November 11. The course is free to take, or $50 USD for an optional Verified Certificate.

Film Trailer: For Love
For Love, a new documentary narrated by Shania Twain, is set to debut on September 30 in a private ceremony at the Vancouver Convention Centre. For Love chronicles Indigenous children in Canada's foster care system and was made with the participation of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples.
