Trieneke Gastmeier

Trieneke Gastmeier is a licensed Archaeologist and Cultural Anthropologist. She has a strong background in conducting cultural heritage research using a wide variety of qualitative approaches. Her experience carrying out socio-cultural investigations includes conducting Oral History/Traditional Knowledge studies, Land Use and Occupancy Studies, and Social Impact Assessments for legal uses; conducting historical research for indigenous communities; peer-reviewing environmental assessments; and working with a wide variety of Aboriginal communities across Canada. Trieneke also has experience conducting Stages 1 through 4 archaeological fieldwork and assessments, analyzing artifacts, peer-reviewing archaeological assessments on behalf of Aboriginal communities, and writing assessment reports.
